Until 11 August this page called 2026 Palma's most, measured against a bar this station could not support: our threshold uses a city's own July and August temperatures from 1971 to 2000, and Palma's record starts in 1978, so seven of those thirty years do not exist here. A part-length window drawn from the cooler end set the bar too low. Palma now uses the complete 1991 to 2020 normal, and the bar rises from 33.0 °C to 33.6 °C.
